Beard Acne, Bumps, & Pimples Solution

Use an acne-fighting beard wash.

Pimples occur when bacteria and fungus get trapped under the skin, causing an inflammatory reaction. That’s why your beard wash/beard shampoo should have antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. We’re talking about ingredients like sunflower oil, which can be found in our MY Wash, and activated charcoal, which physically draws impurities out of your skin and beard. Make sure you’re washing your beard twice a week.

            

Exfoliate your skin.

Exfoliation is an essential step because it helps to remove dead skin cells, which trap bacteria and fungus under the skin — the culprits of acne. Plus, exfoliation helps to prevent ingrown hairs, which can be easily mistaken for pimples. By gently exfoliating two to three times a week, you keep skin smooth and clear. 

Use a beard detox like the MY Face Scrub.
